After working in the electronic technology and IC design industry for more than 40 years, most of my friends have retired. My friends around me are asking me "Why don't you retire?" To their surprise, I stepped into the medical field.
One of my favorite books when I was in college was the Prophet by Kahlil Gibran. This book has the following expressions about work: "And I say that life is indeed darkness save when there is urge, And all knowledge is vain save when there is work, All knowledge is in vain, unless there is a job, And all work is empty save when there is love; And when you work with love you bind yourself to yourself, and to one another, and to God." Work with love and never get tired every day. This is the biggest motivation for work!
